Let’s pick up trash

I have a concern. It seems that some people are messy. I’m not trying to offend all the people that don’t use trashcans, but we have a serious littering problem.

At our school, every sports team goes to pick up trash on the side of the road. Once there was so much trash on the side of the road that we filled 50 bags. We picked up that much trash with only two teams in an hour and a half.

I look down the road all the time and see all the trash. It is madness! I have a suggestion.

At least once every month or two, we should clean the side of the roads.

Georgia is a very pretty place. It would be even prettier if we didn’t have all this trash on the side of the road. If we made a phone tree of people willing to make a difference every other month, we could clean our roads.

If children can make such a difference, then think of the difference people of all ages can make! People can make a difference!
