Christmas tree not only thing being taken

I can’t imagine how great it must have been to be in the stands when Earnhardt finally won the Daytona 500 or the excitement to have been present when the USA hockey team won the gold medal at the Olympics.

However, as I sit in the comfort of my own home I can watch something far greater. The only problem is that there is no sensation of victory, no warm feeling usually accompanied with spectacular events and it is something that takes place everyday, not the usual “once in a blue moon” usually associated with events throughout history.

What is it that happens everyday and is more important than Dale winning the 500, you ask? Well, it doesn’t take a moral, god-fearing patriot to figure that out. It is the utter destruction of the greatest nation in the history of mankind. And there are few people willing to get off their couches to do anything about it.

Everyday I am witness to the biggest conspiracy of modern times. The cover-up by the Left to dismantle what has taken over 200 years to create.

First, they took prayer out of school; we did nothing. They burned the flag; still nothing. Legalized the murder of children; nope, nothing yet. Now they want to do away with the pledge of allegiance and the 10 Commandments and it looks like they will succeed.

Is it me or was my country not founded on the principles of God? And please, let me clarify which God I speak of. Christ, Emmanuel, the Messiah: You may have heard about him. The liberals are currently attempting to take him out of Christmas. Hello! Isn’t he the reason we even have Christmas?

America, I implore you. Please stop this. I ask this not in the name of god or religion. I ask this in the name of our forefathers who thought it important to base this country on strong moral beliefs. I ask this in the name of the soldiers who died for a flag and its ideals. I ask this for your sons and daughters who may grow up in a society where we use murder for birth control, where criminals are the only citizens able to bear arms, and where people thought a man’s infidelity to his wife acceptable behavior for our leader.

The clock is ticking, and if we don’t get off our butts before too long, there will be nothing left of this country except pages in a history book, which more than likely is written by someone who was a part of its demise.
