City commits to utility relocation for Hwy. 85 south widening in future

The Fayetteville City Council has committed to relocating utilities along Ga. Highway 85 south when the road is eventually widened by the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Live nativity next week

His House Community Church will host a live outdoor nativity scene, with a petting corral, on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 17 and 18. The live nativity will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each evening. Dress warmly. The church is located on Ga. Highway 85 south in Senoia, just south of the fire station.

FCHS choruses present free concerts Monday

The Fayette County High School choral department will present a free holiday concert at Sams Auditorium on Monday, Dec. 15 for the public. There will be two concerts, one at 5 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m. This is the second consecutive year that the chorus has performed twice in a day due to large numbers in attendance.
