Grace Church invites local pastors to luncheon

Fayette pastors and ministers are invited to a complimentary luncheon Monday, Nov. 17, from noon to 1:30 p.m., sponsored by Mission Jesus and hosted by Grace Evangelical Church, 164 Flat Creek Trail in Fayetteville.

Keith Moore, Pastor of Braelinn Baptist Church, will share a study done by the Barna Research Group on reaching the unchurched in the community. Moore will briefly summarize the study, its implications for those in local ministry, and consider some ways ministers might work together more effectively to reach the community.

Everyone will receive a copy of the Barna Study compliments of Brealinn Baptist. Lunch will be provided by Chick- Fil - A Dwarf House in Fayetteville.

Mission Jesus is a team of local pastors and ministers whose purpose is, according to a spokesperson, “Uniting God’s people to express the transforming love and compassion of Jesus to our community”.

“Mission Jesus desires to become a catalyst which promotes and encourages unity and synergy in the Christian community without taking away from the valuable distinctives of our various churches and ministries,” the spokesperson said.

Those who are interested in outreach and evangelism and new ways churches can work together to reach the community, and who would like to attend the luncheon are asked to call or email Dave Sims, 770-461-6053, davesims@cftministry.org .
