Helicopter deliveries scare animals, upset rural residents

Several years ago we tried to rezone our land from five acres to two-and-a-half acres and from agricultural so someone could build on the lot. People came out of the woodwork to complain, even though the lot next to us was two-and-a-half acres.

My land is zoned agricultural; I have chickens, and four burros, so why do I need a landing strip for helicopters across the road from me?

For several weeks now a helicopter lands across the road in a field, delivers a package and flies off. Once was questionable, twice was enough, and three times now is a too much. It scares my animal to death, and if I wanted to live near an airport I would have stayed in Hapeville. We moved here in the 1960s to get away from the airport noise.

Now let's see how many of you come out of the woodwork to complain about a copter pad being made out of a pasture here on Ebenezer Church Road! Every day the President tell us to be aware of things going on around us, so imagine my fright when that thing landed across the road. Some people live in an area where they keep airplanes in their yard; fine, if that is what you want, then have your land rezoned and go for it, but don't bug me and my animals with your package deliveries by helicopter landing in an area where it is annoying.
