Need to do less quoting, more living the Word

Good grief! After reading some of the articles and letters concerning the recent vote to confirm Gene Robinson as an Episcopal bishop, I daresay we are in for a shortage of millstones.

According to Christ, in Matthew's Gospel, "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

Perhaps it's time to stop quoting the law about homosexuality and to start living Jesus' new commandment of love.

By the way, I am an Episcopalian.
