Thank you, John Thompson, for your column regarding ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning sodomy laws. I'm not familiar with your writing or your political views, but I just assumed before reading it that the article would be negative on the issue.

Instead, much to my surprise, it was positive. As a gay man living in Fayette County, it's a breath of fresh air.
