resigns as Lady Chiefs soccer coach
One
of the most successful coaching stints in any high school sport in Fayette
County came to an end this week when Stephen Buckner stepped down as
head coach of the McIntosh Lady Chiefs soccer team.

Mill High School, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play college
baseball for Birmingham-Southern College.

ties for eighth in Georgia PGA event

College & State University's Jess Shirley of Newnan tied for eighth
last week in the Georgia Professional Golf Association's Yamaha Atlanta
Open at the Marietta Country Club in Kennesaw.
