of Fayette's top high school baseball players in 2003 has spent much
of the past two days wearing the colors of perhaps the most recognized
professional sports team in the United States, and it wasn't because
he bought a cap and T-shirt at a sporting goods store.

Coweta plays tonight for state title
About 1,000 fans
are expected at Ike Aultman Field in Moultrie for tonight's doubleheader
between East Coweta and Colquitt County for the AAAAA state baseball
championship.
Starr's
Mill team wins rec volleyball title
The
Starr's Mill High School recreational volleyball team defeated Sandy
Creek May 22 to be named Champions of the 2003 Ladies Volleyball League.
The Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department hosts the Ladies
Volleyball League each spring for ladies ages 15 and up.
