East Coweta plays tonight for state title About 1,000 fans are expected at Ike Aultman Field in Moultrie for tonight's doubleheader between East Coweta and Colquitt County for the AAAAA state baseball championship. The Indians earned a spot in the finals with a two-game sweep Monday over Redan, improving their record to 28-6. Colquitt County, which won the state championship in 1997, defeated Fayette County Monday in two straight games in the other semifinal. The first game today is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. If the two teams split, the third and deciding game will be played tomorrow. To get to the game, take I-75 south to Hwy. 319 and go southwest. Moultrie is about 20 miles from the expressway. Turn left at the first stop light in Moultrie, onto Veterans Parkway. After the third stop light on that road, the school will be visible on the right. Go just past the school to the next light and turn right. The ball field is behind the school. Monroe Roark
