Bank opens Peachtree City branch Gary McGaha, president and chief executive officer of Southern Community Bank, announced that the bank's Peachtree City branch office at 1500 Commerce Drive opened on May 15. The Board of Directors, management and staff will host a Grand Opening Celebration for the community June 7 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. McGaha also said that Ricky Rodriguez will serve as the senior executive at the Peachtree City location, while Thomas Williams will direct operations of the branch. "We believe the people of Peachtree City will be served exceedingly well by the opening of this Southern Community Bank location," he said. "Not only is the interior comfortable and modern,but the 3,800-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility features three drive-thru banking lanes, a drive-up ATM and a night depository for area business owners." Rodriguez said he believes the response to Southern Community Bank "will be exceptional."
