Saturday is Free Comic Book Day and Planetary Comics in Peachtree City is joining thousands of other comic book stores around the world by providing a free comic book to all visitors on that day. The goal of Free Comic Book day is to attract as many people to the world of comic books as possible.

"The first ever Free Comic Book Day was last May," said William Brigman, owner of Planetary Comics. "It was a tremendous success and we are proud to be a part of this annual event."

The comics will range in subject matter and style. There will be high flying superhero adventures as well as comedic hi-jinks and intense, crime noir comics. Free Comic Book Day offers comics that will attract every member of the family.

"There are comics for children, for families to enjoy together, for adults and especially for people who think they would never read a comic book," stated Brigman.

Some of the titles available at Free Comic Book Day will be "Archie and Friends," "RoboCop," "Way of the Rat," "Batman Adventure," "Transformers Armada" and more. other comic book stores in the area participating in Free Comic Book Day are Dave's Comics and Collectibles in Fayetteville, Age of Ecalibur in Jonesboro and Titan Games and Comics in College Park.
