Clayton State to host Open Car Show As part of the Clayton State Office of Public Safety's Anti-Violence Program, "Crime Victims' Rights... Fulfill the Promise," the University will be hosting an Open Car Show this Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The car show will take place rain or shine in the lower parking lot behind the University's student center. It is open to any make, model or year. Registration is from 9 a.m.-noon and judging will be done by People's Choice. The show will also feature giveaways and door prizes in addition to Best of Show, Top 50 and Club Participation prizes for exhibitors. Organizations attending the Anti-Violence Program being held as part of the Open Car Show include the Henry County Office of Solicitor General, the YWCA of Greater Atlanta, Angel's Recovery, the State Board of Pardons and Paroles and the State Probation Office, the Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center, the Flint Circuit Council on Family Violence and the Odyssey Family Counseling Center of Hapeville, Ga. Registration fees for the car show are $10 per vehicle For Clayton State students, faculty and staff and $15 per vehicle for non-Clayton entries. Day of show registration is $20 per vehicle.
