Christ the King to celebrate first Easter in new sanctuary

Members of Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church will celebrate their first Easter services in the new sanctuary on Ga. Hwy. 34 in Sharpsburg and will have special events for Holy Week beginning Wednesday, April 16.

The Rev. Deacon Bill Shelton will lead a Wednesday lunchtine prayer and Holy Communion today from 12:15-12:45 p.m., as he has done throughout the Lenten season.

The Maundy Thursday service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and members will observe Good Friday with the community at the First Baptist Church in Peachtree City.

Easter Sunday services will be held at 8 and 10 a.m. in the new sanctuary at 4881 Ga. Hwy. 34, between Peachtree City and Newnan.
