North Fayette United Methodist offers full slate of Easter events North Fayette United Methodist Church has planned a variety of events for the celebration of Easter. Beginning with Maundy Thursday, April 17, the church will host a dinner at 5:30 p.m. in the activities center. The cost is $5 and reservations are requested. Call Carla Howle, 770-461-2409. A nursery will be provided. Following the dinner, at 7 p.m., a service of remembrance of the Last Supper will be held in the sanctuary. Good Friday, April 18, brings a special musical presentation, "The Last Words," performed by the music department under the direction of Nada Clements. Several other choral, instrumental, and solo musical performances are scheduled and dramatic soliloquies will be presented. Performers include LuAnn Latzanich, Angela Sattinger, Jolynn Stevens, Kim Bryan, Pat Banks, Dan Burchfield, Bill Bryan, Cathy Cook, John Davis, Jim Trimble, Karena Burchfield, Patty Carroll, Ken Gould, Glenn Brooks, Leslie Carson, Steve Justice, Jane Stillwell, Phillip McKibben, Kurt Stillwell, Kristy Stillwell, Dave Cook and Jim Stillwell. Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m., an Easter egg hunt will be held for the children. Four services are scheduled for Easter Sunday, beginning with a sunrise service at 7 a.m. in the outdoor worship center. Special music, including the Hallelujah Chorus, will be included at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services, and The Grove Praise and Worship will offer an upbeat celebration of Easter at 9:45 a.m. in the activities center.
