Registration for Victorian Day Camp set for Saturday It's time once again to register girls for the Victorian Adventures summer day camp. This year, Victorian Adventures, under the direction of Michele Cox, will be offering the popular 1800s day camp, and will also offer two weeks of camp with a Colonial theme. The 1800s camp is offered for girls ages 812 during the weeks of June 9-13, June 16-20, and June 23-27. There will also be a "teen week" for more mature girls the week of July 711. At the 1800s camp, girls dress in hoop skirts and participate in activities that will take them back to days of old, such as making bonnets, learning needlework, performing old-style dancing, and much more. The new Colonial Life camp will be held during the weeks of July 1418, and July 2125. At the Colonial Life camp, girls will dress in Colonial attire and learn about crafts, customs, and dances of the time period. They will also study the lives of the founding fathers (and mothers) of our country. Camp registration will be held this Saturday, April 12, from 10a.m.4p.m. at Southern Oaks, 240 N. Jeff Davis Drive, in Fayetteville. Campers can also be registered throughout the spring and summer, until camp sessions are full. Cost of each camp session is $125.
