teams staying busy this week
The
local soccer teams had good games this week, in preparation for a busy
weekend.
Chiefs
and Indians stay perfect with wins
McIntosh's varsity
baseball team got a 4-2 win over Spalding County on Wednesday to improve
to 4-0. Ryan Schwartz got the win, giving up one hit and walking one
batter while going the distance. Spalding got their two runs in the
fourth inning when the Chiefs made three errors. McIntosh scored their
runs on several passed balls and wild pitches as well as a sacrifice
fly from Brent Rosa.
Panther
Relays set for Saturday
The
Starr's Mill track team will host the Panther Relays beginning at 8
a.m. on Saturday.
