SCAT defeats Chattahoochee Gold swimmers

SCAT swimmers defeated Chattahoochee Gold during the senior "Duel in the Pool" meet held in Marietta. The two-team event was for swimmers age 13 and over. SCAT swimmers scored 225 points while Gold finished with 180.

"It was an exciting meet from the SCAT side of the pool," Head Coach Jamey Myers said. "The swimmers could only swim three total races, so it really became a team meet with everyone contributing to the win."

Swimmers dropping the most time included Grace Robertson, who took .78 seconds off her 50-yard freestyle. Heather Jones dropped 4.27 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle. Bryan Mitchell dropped 16.88 seconds in the 200-yard breaststroke. Noah Copeland took 6.01 seconds off his 500-yard freestyle and 27.77 seconds off the 1000-yard freestyle.
