North Fayette UMC to present Christmas musical Dec. 7 & 8

North Fayette United Methodist Church will present its Christmas musical, "How Do you Welcome A King?" Saturday, Dec. 7, at 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8 at 9:45 a.m. in the church activities center.

The musical was composed by Mike Harland and will be presented by the Chancel Choir of North Fayette UMC. Some 25 voices and instruments will be included in the performance. Special enhancements to the lyrics will be provided by video.

The coordinator of the production is Nada Clements, New Hope's director of worship for the past year. Clements is a vocal/audio/video technology major who has sung with the Atlanta Master Chorale and who formed the community chorus, "Atlanta Sings."

The church also will host an evening of old-fashioned Christmas caroling Sunday, Dec. 15, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Families are welcome and are encouraged to join in.

North Fayette UMC is at 847 New Hope Rd., off Ga. Hwy. 314 north of Fayetteville.
