Nativity Episcopal to offer weekly Advent services Dec. 1-22

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will offer a reflective service of Holy Eucharist on the Sunday evenings of Advent, Dec. 1, 8, 15 and 22 at 5:30 p.m.

"The liturgical season of Advent begins precisely at a time when Christmas shopping and countless other demands of a holiday season pull us in so many directions," said Nativity's vicar, Bob Hudak.

"These services are meant especially for people who need some quiet time to prepare spiritually for Christmas within a contemplative setting."

In addition to the 5:30 service, Nativity also offers an 8:45 a.m. Children and Family service and a 10:30 a.m. traditional Service. All are welcome.

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity is part of the 92 parishes in the Diocese of Atlanta and a member of the world-wide Anglican Communion. The church is at 130 Antioch Road. For more information, call the parish office at 770-460-6390 or check the web site at www.fayettenativity.com.
