Local artist has work on display in Conyers gallery
The art of Peachtree City native Jon Booth is currently on display in the Rockdale County Arts Center at 910 Center St. in Olde Town Conyers. The showing, which opened Nov. 15, will continue through Sunday, Jan. 5. The arts center is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Booth, who now lives in Conyers, is primarily exhibiting a selection of large oil paintings on board. He is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design. His work has previously been featured in the college's prestigious Senior Art Show and in other showings in Savannah, and he has had solo exhibits at the Peachtree City Library and at the V. Reed Fine Art Gallery in Atlanta. One of his paintings is also currently on display in The Forum gallery at the Defoor Centre in Atlanta. |
