First Presbyterian plans 'Kids Advent Nite'

Children in the area are invited to participate in "Kids' Advent Nite" at First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 6-7:30 p.m. Children will make advent wreaths, enjoy storytelling and create holiday crafts for a local nursing home. Holly Grove A.M.E. plans children's craft fair

Holly Grove A. M. E. Church in Peachtree City will have its Children's Holiday Craft Fair and Sale Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m at the church, 400 Holly Grove Church Road. Admission fee is $3. Children may have their pictures taken with Santa. Children will be involved in making their own holiday ornaments and crafts. In addition, holiday gift items will be for sale. Brooks UMC will have bazaar, barbecue, auction

Men of Christ Our Hope to have breakfast Nov. 23

The men of Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will have a men's breakfast Saturday, Nov 23, at 8 a.m. at the church. All men in the community are invited to attend. The group meets each month on the fourth Saturday for breakfast and fellowship.

National Heights celebrates 130 years Nov. 24

Members of National Heights Baptist Church will have their 130th anniversary celebration Sunday., Nov. 24, with special events planned for the entire day. Those who have old photos of the church are asked to bring them. National Heights is on the corner of Old Norton Rd. and Ga. Hwy. 54, just west of Fayetteville. Perimeter South Thanksgiving picnic is Nov. 24

Members of Perimeter South Community Church will have a Thanksgiving Family Picnic immediately following the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday, Nov. 24. Those planning to attend are asked to bring a complete picnic lunch for their entire family, including drinks, paper goods and a dessert to share. His House Church sponsors turkey shoots

His House Community Church in Senoia is sponsoring two more turkey shoots this month with turkeys, hams and other prizes offered for hitting the mark. The first was held last Saturday. The events will be held the next twoSaturdays, Nov. 23 and 30, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the church property on Ga. Hwy. 85 just below the fire station in Senoia. Shooters may bring their own shotgun (20, 16 or 12 gauge) or the church will provide one. All ammunition will be provided by the church. For additional information, call 770-719-2365.

Christ Our Hope sets Thanksgiving service

Members of the Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will have a Thanksgiving service Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 7:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring nonperishable foods to be donated to the Atlanta Food Bank. Items needed include Pasta, canned vegetables, canned meats, rice, cereals and baby food.

Body of Christ celebrates International Day Dec. 1

The Body of Christ International encourages persons of all colors, nationalities, races and cultures to attend International Day Sunday, Dec. 1, with services at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 7 p.m..
