Though it sounds like a cliche', every vote does count. Just look at Tuesday's election for a spot on the Tyrone Town Council. Mike Smola challenged incumbent Ronnie Cannon and won by 16 votes, 544-528.

I sincerely hope the Democrats are listening and figured out what happened to them this past week. Many social commentators and spiritual commentators know that there is a "cultural and values" war going on in our country. These recent mid-term elections were a skirmish in that war.

Wanting to live

I recently picked up my copy of the book "You Can't Afford the Luxury of a Single Negative Thought." I enjoy taking it down every now and then to peruse its 622 pages. It's not a book one tends to read straight through.
