New store brings the gym home

There is a new store in Fayetteville for people out there who enjoy exercising and staying fit but have difficulties finding the time to go to a gym. Home Bodies, located by the Barnes and Noble and Kinko's in Fayetteville, is a one stop shop for those who would like to put exercise equipment or a home gym into their house.

The idea for the store came from James Roth and his wife, Teri. James has been in the health and fitness industry for 25 years, serving as a personal trainer and a dietitian. He has been involved in comeptitive bodybuilding since the age of 16. Before opening his store, people interested in purchasing the top of the line exercise equipment would have to drive north of Atlanta, well over an hour away.

"Exercise is important," said James Roth. "The New England Journal of Medicine recently polled over 20,000 people and found that those who exercised on a regular basis lived longer. Exercise needs to be a part of your life."

Home Bodies offers many different exercise machines and can give each customer exactly what they would like in a home gym. There are elliptical machines, stationary racing bikes, treadmills, and cardio and full body workout machines, as well as punching bags, free weights and more. They can even mount a television in the room you are planning to work out in.

"With a home gym, there can be no more excuses for not working out," explained Roth. "You won't have to worry about going out in bad weather or using sweaty machines."

Home Bodies will have their grand opening this Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
