on gun laws
I would just like to comment on the article written by David Epps about laws in Britain on fire arms. Firstly and foremost, hand guns are illegal in Britain. It's against the law to own one and the Reverend Michael Daggett should abide by the laws just as we expect foreigners to abide by our laws here. Its as simple at that. Secondly, David Epps should know the facts regarding homicide by way of firearms in the U.S. vs Europe, Canada, and Australia are that there were more murders by firearms in California alone in 2000 than in the aforementioned countries. This is a staggering statistic which basically speaks for itself. Of course, self-defense is a human right, nobody can argue with that. At least people in Britain don't have to worry about being shot by some crazy person just because he has a gun! Thomas Collier Peachtree City
