Notable Kristine Schiavone of Peachtree City won first place in the Girls 15-19 age group at the Plantations Junior Golf Tour Tournament at Browns Mill in Atlanta. Schiavoe shot an 87 on saturday and a 79 on Sunday. Heather Krehbiel, a freshman at Clayton College and State University, won her second cross country meet of the season on Saturday at the Blazer Invitational at Valdosta State University. She broke the school's freshman 5K record by more than 40 seconds. Krehbiel's time was the ninth fastest time was the ninth fastest 5K in school history.
