Georgia Tennis Festival rescheduled for this Saturday The 2002 Georgia Tennis 25th Anniversary Celebration, originally scheduled for Sept. 14 has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 1-6:30 p.m. at the Peachtree City Tennis Center. There will be plenty of opportunities for the general public to participate and play in activities including the USA Skills Challenge, a Fast Serve Contest, Ralleyball, Hit-for-Prizes, and Demonstration courts. Pros from around the state will also be on site conducting free drill sessions and participating in Pro/Amateur matches. A silent auction will be offered throughout the festival with exciting opportunities to bid on items including: autographed items from Venus Williams, Anna Kournikova, and Andre Agassi; vacation packages; and tennis equipment. Outback Steakhouse is providing 300 free meals along with Publix, Subway, Partner's Pizza and Coke supplying food donations. The cost of admission for the event is only $5 for adults and $3 for children under 18. All proceeds from the day will be used by the Georgia Tennis Foundation to further "promote and develop the growth of tennis" throughout the state of Georgia.
