McIntosh boys and girls win meet at Sandy Creek

Sandy Creek's boys and girls cross country teams hosted a tri-meet last Wednesday afternoon, facing off against McIntosh and Starr's Mill High School. McIntosh's boys and girls took first place, while Starr's Mill's teams finished second and Sandy Creek finished third.

The top five runners for the McIntosh girls were Melissa Anderson, 3, 21:33; Erica Hughey, 4, 21:52; Tori Fratto, 6, 22:00; Kelly Myers, 10, 22:23 and Brittlynn Hall, 11, 22:25. Mcintosh's top five boys were Ben Brantly, 1, 16:55; Thomas Turner, 3, 17:04; John Powers, 5, 17:24; A.J. Jensen, 6, 17:28 and Ian Hardy, 10, 17:45.

Starr's Mill's top five girls were Kristin Horton, 1, 20:46; Katie Hughes, 5, 22:00; Jessi Cort, 7, 22;17; Katy Underwood, 14, 23:05 and Jeanine Guertin, 15, 23:06. The top five runners for the Starr's Mill boys were Daniel Shankle, 2, 17:00; Bradley Morris, 4, 17:17; Davey Woods, 7, 17:30; Sankar Sridaran, 8, 17:32 and Craig Hyatt, 9, 17:38.

Sandy Creek's top five girls were Ashley Blackburn, 2, 20:57; Stephanie Boettcher, 8, 22:19; Savannah Beebe, 9, 22:22; Brie Harrington, 23, 23:54 and Jae Lynch, 25, 24:12. The top five Sandy Creek boys were Andrew Henry, 15, 18:09; John Fields, 23, 19:13; Jake Banta, 35, 19:49; Matt Auers, 37, 19:53 and Brandon Knowles, 40, 20:10.
