Myron Taylor will speak at Tyrone Christian Church Dr. Myron Taylor, retired minister of Westwood Hills Christian Church in Los Angeles, will be the guest speaker at the First Christian Church of Tyrone Sunday, Oct. 13 through Wednesday, Oct. 16. The Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 a.m. and evening services Sunday through Wednesday will begin at 7 p.m. Taylor also is adjunct professor of preaching at Emmanuel School of Religion in Johnson City, Tenn. He may be remembered by some as minister of the East Point Christian Church in the late 1960s. First Christian's Chancel Choir will present special music at each service. In addition, the Tara Choral Guild will combine with the choir on Tuesday evening, and also will perform several numbers of their own. First Christian is at 294 Jenkins Rd. in Tyrone.
