AMS hosts NOPI Nationals this weekend

More than 80,000 car enthusiasts are expected this Saturday and Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the 15th annual NOPI Nationals Motorsports Supershow, one of the largest in the world. This year's NOPI Nationals will feature more than 6,000 show cars and trucks competing for over $100,000, and a smorgasbord of other activities, including hydraulic jump-offs, burnout contests, dyno contests, the World Bodybuilding Challenge, live music and a foam party.

Planet NOPI, the largest mobile performance showroom, will be assembled to display the latest and coolest performance and dress-up items for cars and trucks. All the manufactures for around the world will be on hand to introduce their latest products. Everything from wheels and tires to turbos and car audio equipment will be available at NOPI.

Gates open each day at 10 a.m. for the biggest weekend of the year for car fanatics. Tickets may be purchased at the gate and are $40 for a two-day pass and $25 for a one-day pass. Children 12 and under are $5 per day.
