Author of 'Barbara Nolan' plays to appear on Coweta TV program
David Wilson, the playwright and director of Grantville's annual "Barbara Nolan" comic vampire dramas, will be discussing this year's play "Barbara Nolan Meets the Werewolf" on the "People and Places in Coweta" television program next week. Appearing along with Wilson will be Michael Dalton of Luthersville clad in the Dracula cape he will be wearing in the play in the role of vampire Alexei Fesenko. The interview will be broadcast by Newnan Utilities Channel Ten during the week of Sept. 23-29 at 2 p.m. each day and at 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings. "Barbara Nolan Meets the Werewolf" will be performed Saturday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. in the Grantville Auditorium located behind the Grantville Municipal Building. Wilson and Dalton will be interviewed by the "People & Places" host, Dr. Gerald Troutman, a semi-retired minister and a former President of the Newnan-Coweta Arts Council.
