Wells calls for Stephens to leave the race

In the latest twist in a bitterly-contested race, Fayette County Commissioner Linda Wells Friday afternoon called on Republican Primary opponent Thomas Stephens to withdraw from the race for County Commission Post 4. The election is this coming Tuesday.

I don't think I have, in more than 15 years of writing, responded in print to negative comments from a reader. Today, I will do so though, because there may be a tremendous lesson to be learned by all, especially myself, as I discuss what is on my heart.
