Peachtree City Church of Christ VBS is Aug. 3

The Peachtree City Church of Christ will have a one-day Vacation Bible School Saturday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. The theme is "The Life of Moses." Activities will include participating in the re-creation of events in Moses' life, such as talking to God in the burning bush, making bricks as slaves, crossing the parted Red Sea, visiting the "plague" room, and watching Moses break the stone tablets at Mt. Bethany ladies will attend Salem Camp meeting

The Circle of Love at Bethany United Methodist Church will attend the Salem Camp meeting in Conyers Tuesday, July 30, and have lunch at the Blue Willow afterwards. All ladies of the church are invited to participate and bring a friend. Bethany UMC is on Rivers Rd. in north Fayette County.

Flat Creek Baptist adds worship service

Beginning Sunday, Aug. 25, Flat Creek Baptist Church will have services on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. Flat Creek Baptist is on Flat Creek Trail off Ga. Hwy. 54, about halfway between Fayetteville and Peachtree City. For information, call 770-487-4890.

Heritage men plan August Bible study

The men of Heritage Christian Church will begin a Wednesday night Bible study in August. The first study will be "Seven Promises of the Promise Keeper." Friendship Baptist to celebrate 125th anniversary

Friendship Baptist Church in Palmetto will celebrate its 125th anniversary Sunday, Aug. 18. Worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by dinner on the grounds at noon. All members, former members and guests are invited to attend. The church is at 6090 Cochran Mill Rd., Palmetto.

FFBC will have ice cream social July 28

Members of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church will have Family Fun Night and an ice cream churn-off Sunday, July 28, following the Sunday evening worship service. Those attending are asked to bring a picnic dinner for their family and a churn of ice cream. Drinks and dessert will be provided by the church. Casual dress is advised. Inman UMC plans August revival

North Fayette UMC preschool has openings

North Fayette United Methodist Church has several openings for 3- and 4-year-olds for the 2002-2003 school year. Three-year-olds meet Wednesday through Friday and four-year-olds meet Tuesday through Friday. Both classes meet from 9 a.m. until noon. The church is at 847 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville. Inman UMC offers 'Kidlink' preschool program

Inman United Methodist Church invites children in the community to be a part of "Kidlink," its preschool program offered in a Christian setting. Children will have an opportunity to learn about God and Christ as they discover, interact, and use their imagination in a fun learning atmosphere. Senior adults meet at Vineyard Baptist

Senior adults in the area are invited to join the Young at Heart Ministry at Vineyard Baptist Church in Griffin.
