runners shine in Peachtree Road Race
The
2002 Peachtree Road race was run last Thursday and 55,000 people participated
in the world's largest 10 K. Many of the runners were from Fayette County,
running in a variety of age groups and times.
Brooks
bears have a place to play and NFL stars hosting a camp
The Brooks Area
Recreation Department is gearing up for an exciting football season
with the Brooks Bears. Finally, the Bears will have a place to call
home with the completion of its football facility, located on the 85
connector in Brooks. The field will have the latest high tech lighting
and even air conditioned locker rooms.
