'Pappy' says thanks for 'life-altering experience'

Words seem so inadequate to express my appreciation to all those who supported me during the "Survivor: Marquesas" season on CBS.

It was an unforgettable, life-altering experience for me, and I was so proud to represent this wonderful state and community.

I trust I acted in a manner you thought consistent with my vocation as a Superior Court Judge. It was my earnest desire to display only dignity, honesty and fairness during this adventure. I sincerely hope each of you enjoyed the show, and I look forward to continuing my career of public service. Thank you for this opportunity.
