Kennedy of Newnan has won second place in the EPPIE 2002 Contest for
the science fiction book she had published last year, "The Hidden
Truth of Cytech's Randall Forty." She is the teacher of a workshop
which meets semi-monthly in Newnan called "The Writerís
Block," which she established in 1994 and recently began a new
venture: her own book publishing company.
