Peachtree City UMC relocates Sunrise service to new property Members of the Peachtree City United Methodist Church will have their Easter Sunrise service at 7 a.m. on their new property located on the north end of Robinson Road across from the Calvary Temple church. The 64-acre location has just recently been cleared and a groundbreaking service was celebrated March 10. Church leaders said they decided to relocate the Sunrise Service from the church to the new property in order to "take advantage of the beautiful sunrise over the woods that the new location will provide." Regular Easter Resurrection celebrations on Easter Sunday will be held at the church on the corner of Windgate Rd. and Peachtree Pkwy. at 8, 9:10, 10:30 and 11:45 a.m. Shuttle vans will run continuously between Booth Middle School and the church from 7:45 a.m. until 1 p.m. The community is invited to attend, and a nursery will be provided at the church for the four services held there. Worshippers are requested to bring their own folding chairs for the sunrise service. For information, call the church, 770-487-6499. |
