Seniors not well served at Fayette Senior Services I've been living in Fayette County since 1986, moving from Clayton County. I couldn't believe the differences in Fayette County compared to Clayton and the manner in which appeals, especially for transportation, are swept under the carpet! [Fayette Senior Services Director Andy] Carden, when I've talked to him in person, only gave me the names of transportation that traveled one on one with cab rates. The Senior headquarters are deplorable. Why can't we be treated like humans? They have nothing of interest except to have the kind of transportation we used to have. I still like to be on my own, and I could afford to be picked up and returned several hours later, at a fee I could afford. Seniors, wake up! We need your complaint. The poor seniors who are expected to raise money, I think twice a year, and then pay regular fare to go to the musicals, is cheating. Mary F. Fielder Fayetteville
