Because trial will be in Fulton, Watson will walk

Subject: Jim Watson is going to be acquitted of murder.

Reason 1: Beverley Watson's body was found in Fulton County.

Reason 2: Due to years of affirmative action hiring and promotion policies in Fulton County, the police and sheriffs who investigated were not as intelligent and professional as Coweta's or Fayette's. Most probably the crime scene was trampled on, evidence overlooked, witnesses not interviewed properly, witness interviews lost, etc.

Reason 3: Due to years of affirmative action hiring and promotion policies in Fulton County and due to budgetary constraints cause by massive corruption and bureaucratic incompetence, the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office has classified murders as suicides, accidents, natural causes, etc. Tissue tests to detect possible toxins are botched, tissue evidence is lost, chain of evidence is broken, etc.

Now even if Fulton County had a top-drawer homicide team like TV's "Law and Order" and "Quincy" as a brilliant, tenacious, forensic pathologist in the medical examiner's office, Mr. Watson would still probably walk because:

Reason 4: The Paul Howard-led Fulton County DA's office is one of the most inept and least professional in the state of Georgia. Witness Mr. Howard's track record of convictions while Fulton County solicitor and now its DA.

Reason 5: Even if Fulton County had a good case, good evidence and a good prosecution team, Mr. Watson is being defended by one of the best criminal lawyers in Georgia, Lee Sexton.

Finally, I am not an attorney; but, while many people know of prosecutorial misconduct on the part of solicitors and DAs via planted evidence, perjured testimony, guided witnesses, etc., a lesser known aspect is one called prosecutorial apathy or incompetence which most of the nation viewed in the botched murder trial of O.J. Simpson.

Anyway, if you suspect that the state is not going to do a good job on behalf of the victim, you may ask for a change of venue, or, you may hire a private attorney to handle your case as you would in a civil trial. I strongly suggest to the relatives and friends of Beverley Watson that they try to get the Watson murder trial moved to DeKalb County because once the actual trial starts in Fulton, it will end with Mr. Watson being acquitted.
