Patience? How about compassion for teen?

This is in response to the "Lack of patience can be tragic" letter. In my opinion the writer of that article needs to show some compassion.

I personally knew the teenager killed in that accident. He was a very intelligent and caring young man whose death has saddened my family and many others tremendously. It is obvious that the writer of that article did not know him nor had a family member who went to school with him, otherwise they would not be so quick to call him "anxious" or say he had "no patience."

Having graduated from Fayette County High I have traveled many times on Ga. Highway 279 and most of the time I have seen adults who are showing a lack of patience in their driving. Regardless, a family lost their only son that day and you are complaining about being "inconvenienced" on your way home? You eventually got there. My friend did not.
