Patriots and Tigers sweep games on Tuesday

Tuesday night was an exciting night for the local high school basketball teams. Sandy Creek's boys got their 15th win of the season, while the Lady Patriots won their second game in their last three tries. Fayette County's boys and girls defeated McIntosh in a county and region showdown and Starr's Mill's boys fell to Forest Park.

Starr's Mill win county duals

Starr's Mill is still the dominant wrestling team in Fayette County but the Fayette County Tigers are closing in. The Panthers defeated McIntosh, Sandy Creek and Fayette County on Tuesday in the county duals and look like a contender for another region championship.
