Are you into rock climbing, volleyball, ultimate frisbee or canoeing?

If so, you will want to head to Picnic Park in Peachtree City this Saturday for the Tri-Championships. The event will consist of a two-person canoe challenge, a five-person volleyball challenge and a seven-person ultimate frisbee challenge. There will also be a rock climbing wall, but awards will not be given out for that event this year.

The canoe race begins at noon and there are three categories men, women's and mixed. The canoes will be provided. The volleyball and frisbee tournament will follow the canoe race.

There is no fee for any of these events. To register, phone the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City at 770-487-8133.

The sports events will be followed by a concert at the church featuring According to John, Uncle Jed's Oil, Trinity and Christian Rap artists Bill Boughey and Jaunos. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and is also free.
