Nativity to host Islamic Speaker's Bureau at adult education meeting

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville will host the Islamic Speakers' Bureau at its Wednesday night adult education program. The event is scheduled for Nov. 14 at 7:30 -p.m.

"This is an opportunity to learn about Islam from our neighbors here in Fayette County," said the Rev. Bob Hudak, vicar of Nativity. "My hope is that this will be the start of continuing interfaith friendship and dialogue with our Islamic sisters and brothers."

Fayette County members of the Islamic Speakers' Bureau will present an overview of the Islamic religion and practices. Myths concerning Muslims will also be addressed. All in the community are welcome.
