Flat Creek sets special veterans' service Nov. 11 Flat Creek Baptist Church will have a special Remembrance Service Sunday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m., to honor all veterans in the community. Following the service, a churchwide fellowship will welcome the church's new pastor,Jerry Cross and his family. Veterans attending the service are encouraged to bring their medals, personal awards, photos, jackets, and other memorabilia for display in the Fellowship Hall. All veterans in the community, their families and friends are invited to attend the service. Flat Creek Baptist is on Flat Creek Trail between Ga. Hwy. 54 and Tyrone Rd. near Adams Farm.
