Rower is 'solutions oriented high achiever' My name is Frederick Brown, Jr. and I served Peachtree City for 13 years as mayor (10 years) and council member (3 years). During my tenure we were part of a grand plan that made Peachtree City the unique place it is today. Recently, I was honored by Gary Rower who requested that I serve as the honorary chairperson of his campaign for mayor of Peachtree City. I would like to clarify one point, just like most of us, none of the candidates are actual natives of Peachtree City. However, our diverse backgrounds have shaped the cosmopolitan culture of Peachtree City. On Nov. 6, we will be asked to perform our civic duty and cast our votes for a new mayor, and I wanted to share some of the reasons why I have stated Gary Rower is "the best man for the job." Gary is solutions oriented His can-do attitude drives him to seek input, and craft a win-win situation. Gary is open, honest, and aboveboard These attributes are the qualities we should expect of all of our public servants. Gary is a high-achiever He is an acknowledged inventor and holds two patents, is an entrepreneur and operates a business, is an airline captain, served as an Air Force F-16 pilot, and is a graduate of the Air Force Academy, and serves in various civic capacities. Gary is a proven leader Having served as county chairperson of the 1992 Bush Campaign in Texas, director of Southern Conservation Trust, project director of Line Creek Nature Area, project director of Falcon Field F-16 Project, helps coach the J. C. Booth Science Olympiad Team. While Gary maintains an aggressive schedule, as a senior captain for Delta, his 15 years of employment affords him the flexibility to be available for council meetings and other important scheduled meetings. Like any business traveler, technology has provided the tools that will allow him to remain in contact regardless of his location. I urge each of you to join me in voting for Gary Rower for mayor on Nov. 6, 2001. He is a man I am proud to call a friend. Frederick Brown, Jr. Honorary Chairperson Committee to Elect Gary Rower
