Time to pray, fly the flag

It seems to me that this is the time when we need to take the steps to get the prayers back into the public schools.

Our children need them now more than ever before. We have prayers at the White House and many other public places. It seems that the majority of the Americans are openly returning to their roots and prayers. Our children spendmore waking hours in our schools than anywhere else. They need to know that the Supreme Being is not locked out of our schools by some government ruling.

I have called our state and county officicals, the Governor's Office, GA Board of Regents, and President Bush's office. All agree that the prayers need to be reinstated. However, they have to know that we, the people, need and want them returned. I know that we are dealing with a major disaster and our government officials are busy, but thissimply magnifies the urgency to return the prayers to our children, who are as lost and stressed as the adults. Yes, they can have "silent prayer," but they need to know that it is all right to have these feelings of hurt, hate, stress, unknown and in prayer with their siblings find a peace. Those who do not wish to pray (a minority)can simply sit there and respect those that do.Basic prayers/ and the Ten Commandments will never hurt anyone.

We will fly our flags and say our prayers to carry us through this terrible attack on mankind and America.
