Registration for PTC flag football league still open

Some 20 to 30 people attended the organizational meeting for the adult flag football program in Peachtree City Tuesday evening. Of those, only two represented women's teams.

During the presentation, a discussion evolved about the possibility of offering a Co-Ed League in addition to the Men Only league. The Recreation Department was receptive to this suggeestion, provided rules and regulations specifically for Coed Flag Football can be located. There is enough interest and enough women to field a minimum of four teams.

Registration started with Tuesday's meeting and will continue through Aug. 30. Registration forms can be picked up at the Recreation Administration Office at 191 McIntosh Trail. Fees will be based on the total number of games played times cost per game, plus first and second place trophies, first place individual awards and one rulebook per team, divided by the number of teams.
