I want to extend to you my sincere appreciation for your coverage of the high Risk Warrant Service Training held on May 17 and 18, 2001.

The article and picture you provided in the Wednesday, May 30, 2001 edition of The Citizen represented this training effort in a most commendable way. I was more than impressed with your willingness to come on-site to witness the training personally in order to gain information for the article.

I know that the Fayette County Sheriff's Department, Griffin Circuit Probation and the other agencies that were involved in the training felt rewarded by your account of their participation in this training.

I was also personally very pleased with your portrayal of the purpose this training was designed to serve.
