Memorial Day in PTC: Where was the mayor?

I attended the third annual Peachtree City Memorial Day ceremony with my son, his wife and his two children, and I was very pleased with the whole event, except for one thing.

Mayor Bob Lenox was not in attendance.

There are few public duties the mayor of Peachtree City has to perform, but I would think if [Police Chaplain] David Epps could cut his vacation short to be master of ceremonies, certainly the mayor could do the same.

The sooner PTC is rid of Bob Lenox and his cronies the better off the citizenry will be.

Monday was a very emotional day for me as my father passed away in 1998 and I missed the deadline to order a brick from the VFW for last year, so this year his brick was finally installed. I think PTC and the VFW made a terrific effort to put on a good show, and it's a real shame that the mayor wasn't even there.
