Cary to speak at PTC Presbyterian Sunday

Carolyn Cary, co-founder of the Fayette County Historical Society, will be the featured speaker at the Men's Fellowship Meeting at the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City Sunday, May 20. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the choir room of the church.

Cary, a long-time Fayette resident, wrote and edited the "History of Fayette County," and was voted "Citizen of the Year" in 1977. She has been the county's "official" historian since 1982 and is a regular, contributing writer for "The Citizen."

Reservations are not necessary to attend the meeting. Peachtree City Presbyterian is at 206 Willowbend Rd. in Peachtree City. for more information or directions to the church, call 770-487-7757.
